February 03, 2025, Rock Point, AZ - The 1A North Region released their six-team field basketball brackets for both boys and girls and lists the Lady Cougars of Rock Point and the Wildcats of Dishchii’bikoh as top seeds. Both top seeds will receive byes and await the winning teams on Saturday for the semifinals. The Regional Tournament begins on Wednesday February 5th with first round play at the higher seeded team’s home location. The semifinals games, the third-place games, and the championship games will all happen on Melvin Arthur Court on Saturday, February 8th in Rock Point, Arizona, the home of the Cougars. Admission is set at $10 at all locations. Doors open 1 hour before game time unless hosts announced differently. Support your teams in the spirit of good sportsmanship.
