Rock Point High School held its annual Science Fair on April 16, 2026, providing students with an opportunity to explore scientific ideas and present their learning through hands-on projects.
Thank you to Ms. Bayola and her science students for organizing and facilitating this year’s event. We also extend our appreciation to all participating students for their efforts and project presentations, as well as to the judges for generously giving their time and thoughtful evaluation.
This year’s projects covered a wide range of topics, including experiments related to everyday phenomena, environmental concerns, health and physical activity, and traditional knowledge connections such as food preparation. Students demonstrated curiosity and creativity in selecting topics that were meaningful and relevant to their lives.
As with any science fair, this event reflects an ongoing learning experience, where continued growth in understanding and applying the scientific process is evident. Opportunities like this support students in developing stronger skills in organization, planning, and clearly communicating each step of their investigations.
The Science Fair remains an important opportunity for students to practice critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills. Congratulations to all students who participated and shared their work.
