Greetings, RPCS Families! Due to multiple field trips happening on 4/24 (Thursday) and shortage of buses/drivers, all afterschool events will require parent pick up. Teachers are required to confirm that parents will pick up their children between 5:30pm-5:45pm on 4/24 (Thursday) before 1:00 PM. If you have any questions, please let us know. Dive into the world of science, technology, engineering, and math through interactive workshops, exciting robotics activities, and awesome giveaways! This event is hosted by the ESS department along with Sundance Educational Consulting. The location of this exciting event will be at the RPCS cafeteria. Whether you're building, coding, or just exploring, there's something for everyone. Don’t miss out on this chance to learn, create, and be inspired! Participants will receive activity kits on a first-come, first-served basis. A meal will also be provided at the end of the session.

PTC will happen in-person on Wednesday and Thursday, April 30 and May 01 for both Elementary & Secondary simultaneously, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Instructions on how to SignUp for PTC with your child(ren)'s teachers. Families, parents, staff; come take a break with us! Join us for a brief presentation on mindfulness and well-being, followed by a yoga session to help relax your mind and connect with your body. If you are curious about yoga and/or maybe have not tried it before, our introductory session will be perfect for beginners. Light refreshments will be provided after the session. Spring is here and so is Standardized Testing! Last year, we had some tremendous gains from our students in these tests. Parents, we need your help for your child to do the same again this year! The first wave of testing is the Science Test and it is given to 5th, 8th, and 11th graders. Science Testing will be: MAR 10 - 8th Grade, MAR 11 - 11th Grade, MAR 12 - 5th Grade. We'll update you on each testing phase. We'll need ALL students to be present at school daily. Parents, please have a talk with your child on some of these tips: 1) Have a positive attitude (I am prepared! I will do my best!) 2) Get some good rest. 3) Relax and take deep breaths during testing. 4) Read each question carefully and completely. 5) Pick the best answer. 6) Check your answers. #WeAreRockPoint

Parents and guardians, students will have an early release on Friday, March 14, 2025, to allow staff to participate in surveys for the annual needs assessment, which helps shape our School-Wide Improvement Plan. The Third Quarter ends that day, with the Fourth Quarter beginning after Spring Break (March 17–21). Parent surveys will be shared soon, and we encourage your input. After Spring Break, Spring Achievement Testing will begin, and we appreciate your support in preparing students. Additionally, RPCS will temporarily reinstate the mask mandate for one week to ensure a smooth transition back to in-person learning. Thank you for your support!

2024-2025 NAIC DII Boys & Girls Basketball Bracket! Your RPCS Middle School Boys & Girls team will be playing this Saturday, March 8, 2025 in Kayenta, AZ. The boys earned the #1 spot, while the girls are at the #3 spot. Both teams will play their first game at the BMS gym. Girls at 9:00AM and Boys at 10:00AM. Rock Point Community School Spelling Bee Recognition! We are proud to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our talented spellers who represented Rock Point Community School at the Chinle Agency Spelling Bee. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and exceptional spelling skills contributed to the success of this event. Competing in front of an audience is no easy task, and our students performed admirably. A special commendation goes to our alternates and champions for their outstanding achievements. Your hard work, perseverance, and sportsmanship exemplify the spirit of friendly competition and lifelong learning.
