Caution:
As winter conditions persist, Please be extremely careful while walking and driving on campus.
There are still patches of ice in certain areas that may be difficult to see. Additionally, the parking lots remain snow-packed, and there may be ice beneath the surface, creating hazardous conditions.
Our team is working diligently to apply ice melt to affected areas, but we urge you to take extra caution:
Walk carefully and take slow, deliberate steps. Wear appropriate footwear with good traction. Drive cautiously in the parking lots and allow extra time for braking. Your safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your patience as we continue working to minimize these hazards. Stay safe and take care!

RYER JAMES REACHED THE 1000 POINT MARKER
January 17, 2025, Rock Point, AZ - This is an exciting accomplishment for Ryer James and a proud moment for the Rock Point Cougars! Surpassing the 1,000-point mark in 77 games as a junior is no small feat and speaks volumes about his dedication, skill, and impact on the court. In a home game against Fredonia Lynx, James, a 6’3" center, hit a three pointer with 1:30 left on the time clock during the third quarter to accomplish this milestone. When coach Colin Begay called for a timeout after three referees gestured a three-point shot made, the celebration with fans, teammates, and family during the timeout highlights the strong community support surrounding him. The lead was extended to 41 points with a score of 67-26. With averages of 19.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game, James is clearly a pivotal player for the Cougars this season. The Cougars host Rough Rock High School tomorrow night at 6:30 PM on Melvin Arthur Court in Rock Point, Arizona. Congratulations, Ryer, for a job well done! Best in health to Ryer and the Cougars in their upcoming game against the Sun Devils tomorrow night, and congratulations again on this remarkable milestone!
