RPCS Parents, Students, and Families! Come participate in a family cooking class session facilitated by Denee Bex, MPH, RD, CDCES, LD; the Owner & Founder of Tumbleweed Nutrition LLC. The class will discuss basics of building healthy snacks for families, demonstrate the ability to prepare the recipes featuring budget-friendly and accessible ingredients, and engage in family bonding and discuss importance of family support in healthy eating. Sign-up ASAP as the class is limited to 25 total participants. A light meal will be prepared to accompany the recipes for participants. Dear RPCS Staff, Students, Parents, and Community Members,
We trust you had a wonderful and restful holiday break. To prioritize the health and safety of our students and staff, Rock Point Community School will reinstate a mask mandate for the first two weeks of school, beginning January 6, 2025. During this period, everyone on campus will be required to wear masks.
Following this mandate, we kindly encourage staff members, students and parents to remain vigilant in monitoring for signs of illness, including common colds and respiratory infections to help minimize the spread of illness within our community.
Your cooperation and understanding are vital to maintaining a safe and healthy school environment. Thank you for your continued support.

Welcome Back & Happy New Year
January 03, 2025, Rock Point, AZ - Happy New Year to all! This is a friendly reminder that RPCS will resume classes on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Also, in observance of the life and legacy of President Jimmy Carter, and in recognition of his pivotal role in advocating for the protection of Native American families through the passage of the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) of 1978, Rock Point Community School will be closed on Thursday, January 9, 2025. This day will be dedicated to honoring his contributions to the preservation of Indigenous culture and the rights of Native American children. December 20, 2024, Rock Point, AZ - RPCS had their winter program as a way to provide language and cultural awareness for students, staff, and families. The winter program had presentations by Davis Michell, Miss Indian World, Native Generations, and the Pine Tree Clan Singers. These presentations were to: 1) Develop and indigenous identity, 2) witness ways language is used in various settings, 3) and to apply kinesthetic activity through indigenous ways. Winter Program Agenda

Here's the agenda for the RPCS Winter Program for Friday, December 20, 2024 on Melvin Arthur Court (Secondary Gym). The program begins at 12:45 PM. Performances begin at 1 pm. The purpose of the program is for cultural and language awareness for students, staff, and the community. It is to help develop a positive indigenous identity, witness ways language is used in various settings, and to apply kinesthetic activity for physical development.

Guests will receive Holiday Treat Bags (Orange, Apple, Mixed Nuts, Shelled Peanuts, Christmas Candy). Students will receive their treat bags on Thursday (the day before).

RPCS Winter Program
